Mega Catch-Up!

It has been a wonderfully busy last month!! I can't believe how time has flown by... HelloooOoOo mid-October!!

This is our Beautiful Family!
I'm the lucky one...!

My cute little sis came in town for a short trip! It was a blast to have her! Isn't she SO CUTE!? While she was down here we colored her hair. I should have taken before-and-after pictures!! Dang it! But this was the finished Beauty! We also had a junk food movie night, bought GINIORMOUSLY long twizzlers from WalMart, went walking in the beautiful weather and hung out! I love my sis! She is such a good aunt. Amos loves playing with her! This was when he fell asleep on her shoulder after a big play-off! It was super sweet :)

Here's dad and Amos sharing their Twizzlers! They're best buds!

Do you see what I see?!?! Hahahaha Dad dressed Amos this day! Yellow and blue striped shirt with green pants. I love it! Amos didn't want me to set him down to take this picture, but I wanted to remember how awesome it was! He wore this outfit ALL day long! We went grocery shopping, went for a long walk with the dog along the river, ate lunch at 5 Guys and rented a movie. I got to show off how involved our wonderful dad is all day! We're sure blessed to have him! Not every mom gets to smile at the funny outfits their kids end up in b/c not every dad is as great as Kirk! I love him so much.

My sleeping sweetie pie!

Lib, Amos and I stopped at Dairy Queen and couldn't resist feeding A some of our ice cream!

Stroller time! This fall weather is fabulous!! We go on multiple walks a day! Amos adores the outdoors!

Grandma Fortuna came in town for a weekend too! She is so awesome! We went to the Bosch Store for some delicious hummus and wheat! She taught me her secret to making a incredibly tender, juicy roast! She brought with her Halloween outfits and birthday presents! Played with Amos A LOT!! :) Girl talk! OHHH! And by the way, it was conference weekend too! My cute cute Chelsey Baker (best friend) watched it with my mom, A, and I. She made us these AMAZING pumpkin waffles! I love conference... this was a really really good one!

Amos & Addilyn
Kirks mom came and spent a weekend with us too! It was really really good! The reason why this picture represents that is because Chris, Brenna, Halle and Addi came over for Sunday dinner...which was prepared by Peggy! While she was in town we went shopping, ate delicious chili-cheese fries (my first time!), went for a long walk, made a big Sunday breakfast and caught up on the latest!

Happy Halloween!!!

Other Un-Pictured memories:
  1. I took Amos to walk around the St. George Temple grounds one day while Kirk was working. You can't help but feel Gods love there. It's a beautiful place, inside and out! I want to remember to take my children there often.
  2. Did I tell you that Kirk & I got a new calling in our ward?! We're primary teachers! And our 8 year olds ROCK!
  3. Kirk started school back in September and has been busier than ever! He also is taking a Fire Inspector's class through UFRA. With those classes piled on top of his work schedule, along with study time, he is non-stop! And somewhere in there he finds time to be a full-time dad and husband! He's the best!
  4. We had our dentist check-ups and somehow I have another stinkin CAVITY! How Kirk gets away without them, I don't know. It's boggling! I brush and brush and mouthwash and brush and brush! That bum!
  5. Chelsey left on her mission! I was lucky enough to get to accompany her singing on the piano for her Farewell. I LOVED having her come fill my home with the Spirit when she'd practice all her Church songs. I sure miss her already. She has a beautiful voice! I love playing the piano and listening to her sing, while she bounces and soothes Amos... I could do it all day.
  6. I got a dangerously delicious recipe for PB-Oatmeal cookies! Thanks Brenna!
  7. We took Amos SWIMMING! He loved it! There's a lot to catch up on about Amos. I have a post coming that's all HIM!
I just know I'm missing a few things... hmmm... oh well! Good enough!
